Most Expensive Apartment in the UK Sold for $221 Million
Well: In this case, three whole floors in One Hyde Park, which was completed this past January. Plus the building's many amenities, including a "dedicated team of 60 Mandarin Oriental hotel trained staff," a "private cinema" and bulletproof windows. (Because what's the point of being rich if you can't be paranoid?) The building is also made from "15 different types of stone," if that's the kind of thing that gets you going. Anyway: If you want one of these flats, you'd better act now, as most of them have apparently been sold.

If I have $221 I will buy an apartment half that price, retire, and live the remaining of my life doing nothing.
