Huge House to accommodate hundreds of guests

Approximately four hours North of Detroit, this Traverse City single-family home has landed on the market with eight bedrooms and approximately five acres of land. MLive reported that the owner of the home is Casey Cowell, who created a company known as U.S. Robotics. He constructed this retreat in 1998 with the ability to accommodate hundreds of people in the property. Now that Cowell is planning on downsizing, this Architectural Digest-featured listing is up for grabs to any lucky homebuyers looking for a perfect spot for entertaining.
The three-story single-family home is built into a hill and is divided into three wings. Some of the highlights you'll find inside include a library, screened porch, and cathedral ceilings. There is also a wine cellar and two "computer rooms." According to the residence's official website, the 18,000-square-foot home comes with a total of 37 rooms. MLive further reported that Cowell built the home to have a "state-of-the art electronics system" that allows the homeowner to easily control the home's lighting, audio, security system, and climate control. The asking price totals $8.9 million.
